Wantan mee @ Bidor

This wantan mee stall located at bidor is one my favorite spot for breakfast whenever I travel down south. I prefer this place over bidor ben zhan (品真)because ben zhen is really too expansive!

nice pork leg ! (my uncle favorite, not for me :p )

I cant remember the exact price, but overall it's reasonable. Next time when you guys stop by bidor, give it a try!

Seafood Noodle @ Taiping, Prima Hawker Centre

Sick of the scenery of Ipoh, me, Carol, Mom, Bro and Ah sou went to taiping for breakfast one fine sunday morning. Since it is very close to Sepatang, Taiping usually have nice and fresh supplies of seafood. The place we went for breakfast is Kedai Kopi Prima. The coffee shop across it named as Prima something as well. Anyway, this is one of the famous spot for taiping hawker food from day to night, according to my Taiping friends.

There are quite a large range of foods selection here between the 2 shops. From seafood noodle, to kui teoh teng, nasi lemak and roast pork, you can at least find something that suit your appetite.

pop piah

roast pork

Seafood Noodle

Fish meat Noodle

hmm forgot the name of this drink, think it's call 3 flavors teh :p

Afterward we went taiping lake for a walk, ah sou was holding camera in the photo above :p

The seafood noodles are quite expansive for taiping standard, RM7 per bowl. However, the quality of the seafood is very good.

Claypot Beef Stew - Melaka

Melaka, being the historical Unesco World Heritage city, doesn't have many good foods that suit my taste. Most of the foods I liked in Melaka have something to do with beef.
Loi's Bakuteh and Beef Stall is one of my favorite spot for dinner in Melaka. It's a small stall in a house on the side of the road.

The beef pot has very strong fermented bean curd taste.(南乳) If you don't like the taste, I am not sure if you will like this taste however it still worth a try. (As my bro not a big fan too however he likes this beef pot :p ) The beef taste particular good because it's not overcooked as you can see from the above. However, one thing I hate about this stall is the quality of their rice. They are using really cheap rice and sometime it's not well-cooked. Total cost of the meal is around RM24 including drinks.

Anyway this is a good place for I highly recommend for dinner the next time you in Melaka.

Jogoya @ Starhill, Bukit Bintang KL

Me, Carol, My bro and Dai sou visited Jogoya Japanese buffet restaurant at the luxury Starhill one fine night. It was quite late (around 930pm) and there were less crowd in the restaurant. And so refill wasn't exactly a problem as I heard from other. Overall the food quality are quite ok, and food varies from Japanese sashimi, sushi, to some chinese cooking style dish, Teppanyaki, Tempura, Soups, Western style grilling and etc.

Jogoya employs some sort of clip ordering system where you put a clip with your table number to some special dishes you would like, and a moment later they will send it to your table.

Sushi, Shasimi Bar, Oyster, forgot the name of the fish ><

Sashimi, Grill Unagi, Japanese Handroll, Thai style steam fish, little coconut!

Veggie, Paper Tomyam Steamboat, Sushi and Teppanyaki Beef

Häagen-Dazs Icecream and some puddings

Bro and Dai sou

Calvin, Carol

The price list

Unlike some steamboat restaurant, Jagoya doesn't enforce fine on food wastage. However, I do wish people do not take more than they can eat, or take any food that they don't even like it, and take a bite, then throw! It such a shameful act and we have seen a couples done it!! Please think about the children starving in Africa!
