From Now on.....

I AM SWITCHING TO MAC!!!!!!

Stunningly pretty, easy and no complicated setup and driver look up shit, or windows update zzzz.....It took me less than half a day to get used to mac interface, even though I am poisoned for too long from windows.

By the way, did I mention widgets are cool???? I LOVE WIDGETS!!! haha, they remind me the interface addon in World of Warcraft. Some of the things that widget do, calender, stock price, currency converter, dictionary(I love this one), weather forecast and etc.

Oh and stickies are cool as well, although my screen are too small to put too many of them, but I think stickies should be cool on a imac with bigger screen :)

And then there are also the facts that I need to worry less about virus ( alot less..) , and updating my driver, and also ... blah..too many to list....

If you were finally fed up with windows like me, then I suggest you to try out mac :)
Since I didn't use windows vista, I cant give an honest comparison between mac os x and vista yet. But I will try vista in the near future, so stay tune ;)

Fish ball??!?

Haha, those aren't fishball :) It's chicken rice ball which is one of the few famous food in Malacca. Malacca is one of the place I go frequently due to work and of course, I take some time to try out the local foods as well ^.^

I had tried 3 quite famous chicken rice ball shop in malacca now, and to be honest, I dont really like it hahaha.... ( perhaps it's because I am from Ipoh, the place famous with 'bean sprout chicken') If I had to choose one of the best spot for chicken rice ball in malacca, I will definitely go this shop I just visited lately. I think the shop called 'Restaurant Chong Wah' (something like that, you wont see the sign anyway since it's on the very top of the building which we normally wont pay attention to). It's a white color corner shop at the end of the jonker walk, the shop is just opposite OCBC bank.

Check it out the next time you are in Malacca, perhaps you will like them better than I do ^.^

Makkal Sakti !!

"It is surely time for men to think for themselves, and to throw off the authority of names so artificially magnified."

--Thomas Jefferson

Makkal Sakti indeed.....

I am pretty sure the election result shocked and surprised us quite abit. The people have finally awaken, and they demonstrated their frustration yesterday, 'enough is enough'.

I have been reading newspaper, nanyang, sinchew etc, and I saw the reason they been giving on why opposition could win big is mostly that people are unhappy about the price hike. Well, this is partly true of course, however, is it really that simple? Do the press still think that us Malaysian are morons or what? Just because our nasi lemak rise a few sen, or our teh-tarik rise 20 sen then we vote for an opposition????

The answer is a definite NO!!! The Rakyat had been keeping quiet for so long and giving them chance to show us what they can do terms after terms, but we had seen enough of empty promises, 'banana-weaving' act, enough corruption and more.

There will be uncertainty in the coming future, but we should stay calm and sail through it, as it is normal when changes in process. Sacrifices are needed if we were to earn back our permanent rights. I hope the opposition can put up a good show to the rakyat and fulfill what they had promised, and then we might see even more lights in our future after another 5 years.

Let 3/8/2008 be a new chapter for Malaysia. The road to true democracy is still long and tough, however we must fight on!!!

Democracy is the worst form of government, except all the others that have been tried.

-Sir Winston Churchill

Random Thoughts....

Hmm...I just notice there were too much politics in my blog recently, haha....didn't really mean to turn this into a political blog :p

I just heard a great song on the radio few days ago, it's Stop and Stare by One Republic. The lyrics are quite meaningful, it's one of those song that can touch your soul.

Here's the lyrics :

This town is colder now
I think it's sick of us
It's time to make our move
I'm shakin' off the rust
I've got my heart set
on anywhere but here
I'm staring down myself, counting up the years
Steady hands just take the wheel
Every glance is killing me
Time to make one last appeal for the life I lead

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving, but I go nowhere
Yeah, I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be
Ohhh

Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, can you see what I see

They're tryin' to come back, all my senses push
Untie the weight tags I never thought I could
Steady feet don't fail me now,
I'm a run till you can't walk
But something pulls my focus out, and I'm standing down.

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah, I know that everyone get scared
But I've become what I can't be
Whoa!!!
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, you don't need

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah, I know that everyone get scared
I've become what I can't be
Oh, do you see what I see?

-----------------------------------

There were times when we dream of growing up and become someone else....as we grew older and started working, having families etc, we became more selfish, less careling, less forgiveful, more self-centered....surrendered to the fact that bread and butter is far more important than dreams...further and further away from the teen that were once passionate about life....

'I think I'm moving but I go nowhere'

Stop and stare...Sometime we should slow down and figures out what we really want from our life...we get 1 life, and the rest of time dead, don't wonder what might have been, find out.
