What a surprise, I just saw this yesterday night, we made headlines on soccernet woooo~~~ . In the report, it seem we are to bring in Ian Rush,ex-Liverpool great players, 'to solve the country goalscoring problem'.
From Soccernet :
"Khairy Jamaluddin, deputy president of the Football Association of Malaysia, told local media that Malaysia were struggling because of their poor quality strikers."
Yay, 'Malaysia Boleh'..not...Soccer is a team game, placing the blame solely on the striker is stupid. When your team don't score, it could be the strikers, but it could also be the midfielders because they can't create chance for the strikers up front!!!!!
So what do our FA think Mr. Rush can achieve here? Trains a world class striker like Henry, Ronaldo, Drogba etc? What do you think those world class striker can do if no one feed the ball to them?? I have a better suggestion to be honest, how about send them to shaolin to learn kungfu huh!!!! YAY!!!
Anyway, enough of local soccer. All eyes will be on Capello tonight. Could Capello be the England savior? We shall see. :)
